Minimum credentials

The sign up screen will require you to enter the following information:

• A unique username consisting of between 3 and 18 characters, which must begin with a letter (Aa-Zz) or number (0-9) and may contain letters, numbers, and the symbols _, - and ".

• A mobile phone number complete with country code, which will be required for two-factor authentication ("2FA") and password recovery

• A password consisting of between 8 and 16 characters and containing a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, and at least 1 number (0-9) and one special character (e.g. !, @, -, etc.)

• The same password, entered a second time for verification

Once you have filled out all fields with no outstanding error messages, click Sign up.

Mobile phone number verification

A one-time code will be sent by SMS text message to the mobile number provided.

The code may take a minute or two to arrive. If, after a couple of minutes, you have still received no message, click "Resend code" to try again.

Check that the mobile number displayed here is correct. If not, you can go back to the previous screen to try typing it in again.

Once you have received the code, enter it in the field provided and click Submit.

Keep your user credentials safe, especially your username. The verified mobile phone number will allow you to retrieve your password if you forget it, but will not allow you to retrieve a forgotten username.
